ACADEMY DANCING CLASSROOMS!
Our mission is to build confidence, self-esteem and social awareness in children. Working with a partner in a dance hold,
students will exhibit care and consideration and develop team work and transferable skills for adult life.
Our education programme offers 3 X 10 week sessions during the academic year. Sessions vary from
30 minutes to 60 minutes and can be before school, during lunch time or after school.
In the first term members will be trained in Latin American and as the term progresses
the members will gain competition skills. This will be developed into a team concept to compete against other Dancesport clubs
During the year the Academy works with schools for demonstrations at school events and assemblies.
The classes serve a diverse population of children and there are no pre-requisites and experience
is never required. Each class in the series reinforces what has been learned through practice and repetition. Teachers are
welcome to join in the sessions.

real cool Ballroom a fun easy way to learn a programme of stylish dances. Students will have
an opportunity to represent their school in the Shooting Stars Team Match held toward the end of the school year.
Developing the whole child.
For those children wishing to continue to develop their dance skills outside school the Academy offers a wider range
of classes. There are also opportunities for students to take part in training provided by visiting International Coaches.
