The examining body for the DanceSport Academy is the INTERNATIONAL DANCE TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (IDTA) which is a
Corporate member of the British Dance Council.
With the IDTA we have access to a wide range of examinations covering all age groups and abilities.

Examinations are FUN and EASY to do. Examinations are an opportunity to review learning and performance
progress.
There is a mixture of examinations ranging from ungraded to graded. In the graded examinations candidates will be
awarded marks according to the quality of their performance, pass , commended or highly commended.
